The competitive level of hockey at the CMHL tournament is very high, because most of the teams are made up of present and former Junior A, College, University and even pro players. 28 teams in 3 divisions strive to represent their community in the CMHL event that promotes hockey, something that all of us Canadians have in common! The teams from different communities have not only encouraged participation in this sport, but have created a unique alternative to other professional hockey leagues. This unique Multicultural hockey league has managed to teach young people about cooperation and has given players the tools to achieve common goals. Healthy competition and unprecedented cooperation between teams serves well as an example to all of the communities at large.
